Hello There! I’m a multi-passionate life enthusiast who facilitates ways for individuals, organizations, and communities to meet the needs of our country's most vulnerable yet resilient population: those who face behavioral health challenges and crises.

I’ve worked with non-profit, faith-based colleges and universities, government organizations, and other consulting agencies for over a decade to provide training and education on mental health, substance use, trauma, and employee wellness.

Mona Townes, MSW, LCSW, LCAS, CCS, MAC is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. For almost two decades, she has worked with individuals, families, and communities to enhance the crisis continuum in eastern North Carolina. In 2021, the North Carolina Social Work Newsletter featured Mona in their National Association of Social Workers article, "NASW-NC Member Spotlight: Mona Townes".

Mona is a double graduate, both a Bachelor of Social Worker and Master Social Work degree, from East Carolina University. She the recipient of awards including ECU School of Social Work Rising Star Alumni and the ECU 40 Under 40 Leadership Award. She is a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers - North Carolina, where she previously served on the Board of Directors. She has provided clinical supervision to over a dozen associate licensed professionals. She is a lecturer in the School of Social Work with NC State University. She is certified by the National Council of Mental Wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor and has trained over 300 individuals.
